What is SoundExchange?

SoundExchange is a nonprofit that collects and pays out digital performance royalties for sound recordings in the U.S. They make sure recording artists and record labels get paid when their music is played on digital radio services like Pandora, SiriusXM, or internet radio stations. They also keep track of who owns the recordings so payments go to the right people.
