What does the green √ mean in Review?

Written by Keela Ross

When you see a green √ in the Recording, Publishing, or Performance rows of your review results, it means everything is set up correctly, and you’re on track to collect all the royalties you deserve for your music.

Recording Row Green √

A green √ in the Recording row means your song is properly registered within SoundExchange or your local collection society. You’re set up to receive digital performance royalties from platforms like Pandora and SiriusXM.

Publishing Row Green √

A green √ in the Publishing row shows your music publishing is correctly registered. Your songwriter and publisher information is complete, and you’re ready to collect publishing royalties from streaming platforms and other uses.

Performance Row Green √

A green √ in the Performance row confirms your song is registered with a Performance Rights Organization (PRO) and all key details like your Interested Party Information (IPI) number and publisher info are correct. You’ll receive performance royalties from radio, streaming services, and live venues.
