We’ve identified an issue with your songs registration within Performance Rights Organizations (PROs). A PRO collects royalties from businesses such as radio stations, streaming services, and live venues, and distributes them to songwriters, composers, and music publishers. By joining a PRO, you ensure that your music is properly licensed and that you receive royalties for its use.

What Issues?

It appears that your song is either missing from PRO systems, your Interested Party Information (IPI) number is not associated with the song, or a publisher is not listed. These issues can potentially result in missed earnings from your music.

Solution

To maximize your royalty collection, it's crucial to join a PRO in your own territory. Here are some recommended PROs to research.

United States:

  • ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers)

  • BMI (Broadcast Music, Inc.)

If you’re interested you could join either ASCAP or BMI (Can’t join both), to ensure you properly collect your performance royalties.
